Sewing Happiness goods are created by Heather Fontaine-Doyle. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband of 10 years and three children. She became passionate about sewing when her middle child was born, sewing cloth diapers. She quickly became hooked and branched out into clothing.

As a busy mom, Heather understands the need for designs that look good and are practical for play. She enjoys choosing fun fabrics, designing appliques, and creating clothing with the comfort of the wearer in mind. Having two boys herself, she has seen a lack of availability of clothing designs for them. She offers cool clothing for boys as well as girls. When she isn't sewing clothing for her customers or her children, Heather enjoys making pieced patchwork bags, dresses and the occasional diaper.
